In some code found in the iOS 18 beta by Aaron from *MacRumors*, we can see references to four iPhone 16 and iPhone 17 models.
While it doesn’t reveal anything about the specific devices, leaks over time have given us some idea of what to expect from the upcoming iPhone 16 series.
Rumors suggest that the iPhone 16 will feature a revamped design with two vertical cameras, positioned on a square bump on the back. This setup is believed to enable Apple to introduce spatial video recording to the iPhone 16.
As for the iPhone 17, it’s reported to have an additional variant named ‘Slim.’ This iPhone is said to feature groundbreaking design changes, similar to the ones brought about by the iPhone X in 2017.
According to *MacRumors*, the device will have its main camera system centered instead of positioned in the top left corner, and the Dynamic Island will be redesigned for a cleaner look, increasing the display area on the front.
In addition to these upcoming iPhones, the code discovered by Aaron also hints at a range of new iPads and Macs. According to the code, we can expect four new iPad models and eight new Mac models that have yet to be released.
The model numbers suggest that six of the upcoming Mac models will feature the M4 chipset in some variations, while the remaining two will likely integrate the next-generation chipset (possibly M5). All the iPad models are also expected to utilize the M5 chipset.
Of course, things could change by the time Apple officially releases its new product lineup, or “Apple” may use different model numbers for devices with the same chipset.
