The battery capacity information of the iPhone 16 was revealed by Apple leaker Majin Bu. According to this leaker:
– The iPhone 16 has a battery capacity of 3561mAh, which is 6% higher than the iPhone 15 (3349mAh).
– The iPhone 16 Pro Max has a battery capacity of 4676mAh, which is 5% higher than the iPhone 15 Pro Max (4422mAh). In addition, the iPhone 16 Pro Max is rumored to return to a rectangular bar-shaped battery design similar to the iPhone 16, instead of the L-shaped battery design like the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
– The iPhone 16 Plus has a battery capacity of 4006mAh, which is 9% lower than the iPhone 15 Plus (4383mAh).
– No information is available about the iPhone 16 Pro version.
Therefore, this may be good news for users who are looking forward to the standard iPhone 16 and the highest-end iPhone 16 Pro Max, but it is sad news for those who intend to own the iPhone 16 Plus. It is not yet clear why Apple decided to reduce the battery capacity of this model.
