Ranking the highest among the Vietnamese dishes at number 17 is stir-fried water spinach with garlic, a common dish in local restaurants and street food stalls. It is also a popular dish among Vietnamese households due to its simple preparation and delicious flavor.

This humble dish scored an impressive 4.3 out of 5 stars. According to Taste Atlas, stir-fried water spinach with garlic is considered a traditional specialty in Vietnamese cuisine, especially suitable for vegetarians. This recognition not only reflects the quality of the dish but also underscores its importance in the diverse and vibrant culinary landscape of Vietnam. According to culinary experts, the key to making delicious stir-fried water spinach with garlic lies in blanching the vegetable before stir-frying it with garlic, along with the addition of salt, sugar, and fish sauce.

Another stir-fried garlic dish that made it to the list is stir-fried chayote, originating from Sa Pa and known for its refreshing taste and distinctive crisp texture. Ranked at number 75, this dish is a perfect blend of fresh chayote, fragrant garlic, fish sauce, and a touch of oil, resulting in a unique and mouthwatering flavor.
