How Much KLB Stock Does the Đồng Tâm Group Own?

Kienlongbank (KLB), a Vietnam-based joint-stock commercial bank, has disclosed its list of shareholders owning over 1% of its charter capital, excluding treasury shares. Among them are 16 individuals and several prominent entities in the construction and real estate industries.

The largest shareholder is Mr. Nguyen Huy Van, holding 4.76% of KLB’s capital, equivalent to nearly 17.3 million shares. He is followed by seven individuals, each owning over 4% of the bank’s capital. Notably, former KLB Chairwoman Tran Thi Thu Hang holds 4.72%.

Several shareholders are associated with the Dong Tam group, led by Mr. Vo Quoc Thang (Bầu Thắng). Dong Tam Corporation holds 1.82% of KLB, while an unnamed affiliate holds 2.9%. Long An Industrial Park Joint Stock Company, a Dong Tam subsidiary, owns 2.41% of the bank.

Mr. Vo Quoc Loi, son of Bầu Thắng and Chairman of Dong Tam Group, serves as an advisor to the bank and holds 4.69% of KLB’s capital. Mr. Vo Thanh Phuc, Bầu Thắng’s nephew, owns 3.38%, while Mr. Vo Thanh Tu, Secretary-General of the Long An Business Association, holds 1.44%. Other notable shareholders include Mrs. Nguyen Thuy Quynh Huong, Chairwoman and CEO of Long An International Port Management and Exploitation Joint Stock Company, and Mr. Le Vo Manh Cuong, another significant shareholder of Dong Tam, with a 4.65% stake in KLB. Additionally, Mr. Huynh Van Quan, a loyal shareholder of Dong Tam, holds 3.33%.

Another noteworthy individual shareholder is Mrs. Vo Thi Tuan Anh, holding 1.55% of the bank’s capital. She currently serves as Chairwoman of Newtechco Group Joint Stock Company and Sakae Holdings Joint Stock Company.

In addition to the two organizational shareholders related to Dong Tam, KLB has three other institutional investors. These include Investment and Construction Works Business Joint Stock Company, holding 2.53% of KLB, Vinacominco Khanh Hoa Joint Stock Company with a 2.43% stake, and Construction Design Works Trinh Gia Joint Stock Company, owning 1.67% of KLB. The latter’s shareholder structure changed in October 2020, with Hemera Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company acquiring a 96.67% stake.

Hemera, established in 2020 with a charter capital of VND 1,300 billion, is owned by Mr. Tran Anh Quan (70%) and Mr. Dang Tuan Anh (30%). Mr. Dang Tuan Anh, born in 1994, is also the owner and Director of Aurora Real Estate Investment Joint Stock Company, founded in January 2024, with a capital of VND 150 billion.
