According to the Ministry of Finance, there were 56 successful private placements of corporate bonds in July 2024, with a total volume of approximately VND 45 trillion, a 15% decrease from June but a 57% increase from the same period in 2023.
Of the 56 issuances mentioned above, credit institutions accounted for 78% of the volume, with VND 35.1 trillion, while real estate businesses issued VND 5.5 trillion (12.1%), and businesses in other sectors issued approximately VND 4.4 trillion.
In the first seven months of 2024, there were 174 successful private placements of corporate bonds, with a total volume of VND 161.5 trillion, a 2.6-fold increase compared to the same period in 2023. Credit institutions issued more than VND 109 trillion (67.5% of the total issuance). Additionally, the group of real estate businesses issued nearly VND 38.7 trillion, accounting for 24% of the total volume, while businesses in other sectors issued VND 13.8 trillion (8.5%).
According to the Ministry of Finance, the volume of early redemptions was VND 88.8 trillion, a 36% decrease compared to the same period in 2023.
In the secondary market, according to the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the total trading value in the first seven months of 2024 reached VND 566,857 billion, with an average trading value of approximately VND 4,049 billion per session.
