On the afternoon of the 7th of August, Mr. Do The Manh, Chief of Saigon Port – Cat Lai Customs Branch (located in Thu Duc City), announced that the electronic customs system had resumed normal operations after 9:45 am on the same day.
Previously, from the evening of August 6th to the morning of August 7th, the electronic data processing system encountered a problem that prevented customs procedures, causing difficulties for businesses in completing their customs processes.
According to several businesses, this incident delayed the clearance of some shipments. Numerous containers were left waiting outside Cat Lai Port, awaiting customs clearance.
