According to Carnewschina, the Neta X electric car model was officially launched to consumers in early August. There are four versions of the car, named 400 Air, 500 Air, 500 Plus, and 500 Pro, with prices ranging from RMB 89,800 to 124,800 (USD 12,500 to 17,400), or VND 313-436 million. The new models offer two range options of 401 km and 501 km, tested under the CLTC procedure.
The Neta X 500 Plus version has significant upgrades over the old Neta X 500 Lite in terms of design, with more comfortable seating, additional in-cabin features, and safety enhancements.
The car is equipped with the Haozhi heat pump system, self-developed by Neta, which reduces energy consumption and optimizes heating and cooling. Additionally, it features a constant-temperature battery management system to improve range in winter and charging efficiency at low temperatures.
The Neta X 500 Pro version includes features such as an electric trunk and wireless phone charging. Safety and technology improvements include the addition of side curtain airbags, a driver monitoring system (DMS), and a dashcam. The vehicle also integrates NETA AD, achieving intelligent driving assistance at the L2+ level.
While the exterior design remains unchanged, the new Neta X sports a closed front grille with split headlights, lower air intakes, and sharp lines on the bonnet, giving the car a sportier look.
With dimensions of 4619 mm in length, 1860 mm in width, and 1628 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2770 mm, the Neta X has a layered rear design with horizontal lines and see-through taillights, enhancing its visual width. The chrome trim on the rear bumper adds a touch of sophistication.
The Neta X features an 8.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a square 15.6-inch center control screen (in the Plus and Pro models) powered by the 8155P chip. It also has a wireless charging pad below the center console. The interior boasts 80% soft-touch surfaces and minimal physical buttons.
The new Neta X is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, delivering a maximum power of 120 kW. It has a top speed of 150 km/h and range options of 401 km and 501 km.
The new Neta X will compete with models such as the BYD Yuan Plus. Its innovative interior design aims to provide consumers with a superior driving experience. Neta is a subsidiary brand of Hozon Auto, a Chinese electric car manufacturer. The company currently offers five models: Aya, X, S, GT, and L.
