This indicates a growing interest in the Vietnamese market, opening up opportunities for foreign funds to invest in Vietnam besides popular indices such as VN30, Diamond, Finlead, FinSelect, FTSE Vietnam, FTSE Vietnam 30, and MarketVector Vietnam Local Index.

Specifically, being included in the MSCI Frontier Markets Index will help NAB attract more foreign capital, including from active funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) when focusing on buying and selling fund certificates based on the stocks in this index.

In addition, once included in the MSCI Frontier Markets Index, in the event that Vietnam is upgraded from a frontier market to an emerging market, NAB will be among the first stocks to be considered for increased weightings in the emerging market indices.

The international organization MSCI recognized this as a testament to Nam A Bank’s efforts towards sustainable, safe, and efficient development. Nam A Bank is committed to continuously striving to become a safe and efficient investment destination for investors, positively contributing to the overall development of Vietnam’s financial market.

The MSCI Frontier Markets Index is currently the most important index among MSCI’s frontier market indices, as a significant number of large active funds with assets in the hundreds of millions of USD use this index as a benchmark.
