On August 13, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Thu Duc City Police (Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with the local authorities of Thao Dien Ward to examine the scene and investigate the cause of a fire that broke out in a five-story house located in Alley 5, Road 64, Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City.
The fire broke out around 8 am on the first floor of the building. Upon noticing the smoke, several residents rushed to the rooftop to seek safety and await rescue.
According to initial information, the house was divided into 12 rented rooms. At the time of the incident, there were 15 people (including 9 foreigners) inside the building.
Upon receiving the report, the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Thu Duc City Police dispatched specialized vehicles and officers to the scene to extinguish the fire and conduct rescue operations. The fire was promptly put out, and 8 individuals from the rooftop were safely evacuated.
Fortunately, there were no casualties, but several belongings in the room were damaged. The exterior of the room where the fire started was covered in black soot.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities in Thu Duc City.
