According to a dealership source, the MG7 will be offered in 3 trim levels: Deluxe, Luxury, and Trophy+. The car will have two engine options: a 1.5L and a 2.0L.

Possible Trim Levels, Features, and Specifications for the MG7 in Vietnam

The MG7 in Vietnam is expected to have two engine options. The 1.5L gasoline engine produces 185 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission. The 2.0L gasoline engine delivers 257 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.

At a media event in China, Vietnamese media representatives had the opportunity to test drive the Trophy+ trim. According to a dealership consultant, the highest trim level offered in Vietnam will also be the Trophy+. This trim includes features such as an electronic rear spoiler and a sports driving mode, X Mode.

The car spotted on the roads is likely the Trophy+ trim, featuring 19-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, dual exhaust pipes, LED headlights and taillights, a coupe-style roofline, and frameless windows.

If the Trophy+ trim is offered in Vietnam, the interior features are expected to be similar to the Chinese version. Notable features include a large dual-screen setup, a 3-spoke sporty steering wheel, an Audi-like electronic gear selector, a Bose sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.
