Pre-orders for this innovative ebike will commence on August 20th, with deliveries expected to begin in September. The VF DrgnFly is priced at VND 29,690,000, offering a compelling package that combines style, performance, and innovative features.
The design of the VF DrgnFly draws inspiration from the majestic image of a dragon in Vietnamese culture, featuring an extended steering wheel, large tires, and an ergonomic seat for an enhanced riding experience. Its unique body construction, coupled with a flat aluminum frame, ensures superior strength and a balanced weight-to-durability ratio.
With dimensions of 1,730 mm in length, 720 mm in width, and 1,056 mm in height, a seat height of 795 mm, and a lightweight design at just 32 kg, the VF DrgnFly is both sleek and maneuverable.
VinFast has equipped the VF DrgnFly with a full LED lighting system, enhancing aesthetics and ensuring safe riding conditions during low-light hours. The ebike also features a 50 mm hydraulic shock absorption system and hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels, providing a smooth and controlled riding experience.
Powered by a 250W rear-wheel-drive motor and a single-speed gearbox with a torque sensor, the VF DrgnFly delivers efficient performance. Its lithium-ion battery offers an impressive range of up to 75 km in pure electric mode and 110 km in power-assisted mode on a single charge. Riders can conveniently monitor battery status and other vital information via the monochrome display integrated into the steering wheel.
The VF DrgnFly also offers smart connectivity, allowing riders to connect and manage their ebike via a mobile app. This enables remote adjustments to riding modes, trip recording, and access to special features, all from the convenience of their smartphone. Over-the-air (OTA) software updates further ensure that the VF DrgnFly remains optimized for peak performance.
Tailored to diverse riding preferences, the VF DrgnFly offers three distinct riding modes: Manual, Eco, and Sport. Each mode is designed to cater to different riding styles and efficiency needs. The ebike will be sold with a home charger, and its detachable battery design allows for convenient charging during use.
