Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 16 generation to users in September, along with a host of valuable upgrades, promising to deliver the freshest experiences yet.
Ahead of the official event, images of the invitation letter for the iPhone 16 launch event were shared by @MajinBuOfficial on the X platform. According to MajinBu, these images were provided by an anonymous source, and there is no way to verify their authenticity.
The shared images feature a bronze Apple logo, along with the words “Ready. Set. Capture.” The images also suggest that the event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park and commence at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.
The chosen slogan may pertain to the iPhone 16’s photography capabilities, while the bronze hue aligns with rumors of a similar color option for the iPhone 16 Pro models. Naturally, all of this remains speculative, and the event invitation could be a clever fake.
Numerous sources suggest that Apple will maintain its four-model lineup, including the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus are expected to feature a refreshed rear camera design, along with seven color options: pink, yellow, green, blue, black, white, and purple.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are rumored to upgrade the ultra-wide lens from 12MP to 48MP. These premium iPhones are also expected to introduce a dedicated shutter button, allowing users to lightly press for autofocus and press harder to capture an image.
In addition to the iPhone 16 series, the next-generation AirPods are likely to make an appearance at the event, according to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg. As with previous releases, the company is expected to unveil two versions of the AirPods: a standard and a Pro model.
