Eight provinces recorded exports of over $10 billion in the first seven months of the year. Among them, the northern province of Bac Ninh took the lead with $22.5 billion, followed by Ho Chi Minh City at nearly $26 billion. The next highest exporters were Binh Duong ($19.28 billion), Thai Nguyen ($17.7 billion), Hai Phong ($16.8 billion), Bac Giang ($16 billion), Dong Nai ($13.4 billion), and Hanoi ($10.6 billion). Thus, these eight leading localities contributed $142.28 billion to the country’s export turnover, accounting for 62.54% of Vietnam’s total export value during this period.
The People’s Committee of Bac Ninh is directing local authorities to expedite compensation and ground clearance for new industrial parks and clusters. They are also focusing on attracting strategic and high-tech investors to surpass the provincial export target for 2024.

The Provincial Security Investigation Agency (PSIA) of Thanh Hoa province announced on January 31st that it has made the decision to initiate a prosecution against 23 individuals in connection with the offenses of “Accepting bribes” and “Giving bribes” as stipulated in Article 354(3) and Article 364(2) of the Criminal Code.
