Based on the audited 2023 financial results, Vietjet, representing the aviation industry, ranked 5th in revenue with VND 58,300 billion, a 45% increase compared to 2022. This is a clear testament to the company’s strong recovery and sustainable growth strategy.
The Top 50 Best Listed Companies by Forbes Vietnam are selected through a rigorous evaluation process, from initial screening based on basic financial criteria to scoring on factors such as revenue and profit growth, ROE, ROC, and EPS growth from 2019 to 2023. Forbes also considers the company’s industry position, governance quality, and development prospects.

In the face of global economic challenges, Vietjet continued its outstanding performance in the first half of 2024, with total revenue reaching VND 34,016 billion, a 15% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Meanwhile, pre-tax profit reached VND 1,311 billion, a significant 433% increase year-on-year, surpassing the full-year 2024 profit plan by 21%. Vietjet also maintains a strong credit rating of VnBBB-, the highest among Vietnamese enterprises.
Vietjet continuously expands its fleet and network, expecting to add 10 new aircraft in 2024 as part of its sustainable development plan. The airline expands its domestic and international network to Australia, Japan, South Korea, China, India, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and beyond to meet the demands of travelers.
Since its listing, Vietjet’s stock code VJC has been highly regarded by domestic and international investors for its profitability. Not only has it been featured multiple times in Forbes’ Top 50 Best Listed Companies, but it has also received accolades from renowned financial publications. International Finance magazine awarded Vietjet as the “Best Financial Managed Airline,” Airfinance Journal ranked it among the top 50 airlines globally for financial health, and AirlineRatings recognized Vietjet as the “World’s Best Ultra Low-Cost Airline.”
