The master plan outlines the development of a cultural and recreational park in the Tay Tuu and Minh Khai wards of Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi.

This expansive park stretches from the edge of the Nhon – Ha Noi Depot, extending alongside the Bac Tu Liem District’s administrative center. It then reaches and concludes at the Tay Thang Long and Van Tien Dung roads.

A standout feature of this cultural and recreational park is its impressive size, spanning an area of 149 hectares (1.49 square kilometers). To put this into perspective, the park will be seven times larger than Hoa Binh Park (20 hectares), three times the size of Thong Nhat Park (50 hectares), and nearly a third of Hoan Kiem District’s area (5.29 square kilometers)

The site currently earmarked for the park is predominantly agricultural land, with local residents cultivating crops. Given its proximity to the Nhon – Ha Noi metro line (a project with a total investment of VND 34,800 billion), the park will be easily accessible once established.

There are a few residential homes within the 149-hectare site, along with temporary structures used for storing farming tools and providing a resting place for farmers working in the fields.

Notably, the site also currently houses the Anh Duong Elderly Care Center.

The construction of a cultural and recreational park in this area is much-needed, as there are limited resting places for the elderly and the general public in the vicinity. However, details regarding the development of this park remain scarce.

In terms of infrastructure, the park is strategically located near two major roads: Van Tien Dung Road (with six lanes) and Tay Thang Long Road (spanning ten lanes), both of which are already in use.

Additionally, the master plan indicates that a new road will be constructed within the cultural and recreational park.

This road will connect Vanh Dai 3.5, Hoang Quoc Viet extended, and the Nam Thang Long Industrial Park. As of now, this road is under construction. With such well-planned infrastructure investments, the future accessibility of the park for visitors once it is operational is highly promising.
