At the meeting, the subcommittee reviewed the implementation of tasks, identified key focuses for the upcoming period, and discussed the draft report assessing the five-year implementation of the 10-year Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2021–2030, as well as the orientations and tasks for socio-economic development for 2026–2030.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh agreed with the basic contents of the proposal and draft report. He instructed that, following this meeting, it is imperative to promptly incorporate the contributed opinions and focus on finalizing the proposal and draft report for submission to the Politburo and the Party Central Committee.

The Prime Minister emphasized the view of prioritizing development and breakthroughs for stability, and using stability as a foundation for further development, propelling the innovation process, and pursuing more robust breakthroughs in institutional perfection, strategic infrastructure development, and human resources training, aiming for “open institutions, seamless infrastructure, and smart governance.”
