As one of the largest enterprises in Vietnam, THACO prioritizes collaboration with colleges and universities nationwide to develop a high-quality workforce with professional expertise, scientific thinking, and a sustainable development mindset.
Strengthening the Link Between Academia and Industry
Developing human resources to adapt to the Fourth Industrial Revolution is one of the critical agendas in Vietnam’s national action plan to proactively participate in the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Specifically, in the field of information technology, enterprises’ evaluations are used as a metric for the quality of training provided by universities. Additionally, there are incentives and preferential treatments for organizations, individuals, and technology enterprises directly involved in education and training.
According to a study conducted in Australia and published on SpringerLink, which aimed to assess the relationship between students’ learning experiences and their post-graduation employment prospects, more than 70% of students who participated in internship programs in enterprises found jobs faster after graduation. Approximately 65% of students felt that practical activities linked to businesses helped them develop the necessary skills for their future careers.

Engaging in activities linked to businesses helps students gain a more practical understanding of the job market when they enter the workforce.
This highlights the importance of the link between businesses and academic institutions. Not only do students have more opportunities to gain practical experience, but it also lays a solid foundation for young talent to quickly integrate into the job market. Moreover, as the curriculum is tailored to match real-world job requirements, the quality of human resources improves significantly, aligning with businesses’ recruitment needs.
Collaborating to Train Young Talent for Sustainable Development

Notably, through the Phu Tho – Bach Khoa Alumni Association, THACO has implemented numerous practical initiatives, such as scholarship funds, infrastructure improvement projects, innovation and entrepreneurship programs, and career guidance for students.

The curriculum structure at THACO College comprises 70% practical training.
Additionally, THACO is directly involved in autonomous human resource development through the establishment of THACO College.
