The highly-anticipated Honda LEAD 2025, a popular scooter model in the Vietnamese market, has finally arrived at authorized dealerships ahead of its official launch.
According to dealership sources, the Honda LEAD 2025 will be available in three variants: standard, premium, and special. While the official pricing has not yet been disclosed, some dealerships have indicated that the new model is expected to see a price increase of VND 3-5 million. Additionally, customers who place a deposit for the scooter between now and September 3rd will receive an instant cash discount of VND 500,000.

The 2025 edition of the Honda LEAD features a refreshed look with a sportier and more eye-catching design. Notable exterior updates include a sleeker chrome headlight accent, a larger and more pronounced front apron with a V-shaped design, and new color options for the body and wheels.

The instrument cluster has also been refined to offer a more modern look while retaining the familiar single-color LCD screen and analog speedometer. Additional updates include a USB charging port in the left front storage compartment, a courtesy light in the under-seat storage area, a redesigned seat lock mechanism for easier access, and an improved engine cover to reduce vibration.

The most notable upgrade to the Honda LEAD 2025 is the introduction of an anti-lock braking system (ABS) on the front disc brake of the special edition model. Meanwhile, the remaining variants are equipped with a combined braking system (CBS). All three versions feature a drum brake at the rear.
In terms of performance, the Honda LEAD 2025 is expected to be powered by the same eSP+ single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 125cc engine as its predecessor. This engine delivers 11 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 11.7 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The engine also incorporates Idling Stop technology and an ACG starter for enhanced efficiency.
