A 2007 Ford Transit for sale in the used car market is attracting a lot of attention. Specifically, this van is a motorhome version with a much larger rear cabin than the standard 16-seater.
According to the seller, this van is one of a kind in Vietnam, imported directly from Germany rather than modified locally. The next owner need not worry about using it as this unique Ford Transit has no age limit and is completely normal for registration. The license to operate this vehicle is type B2, which is very common.
The condition of the van is advertised as “extremely fuel-efficient due to its diesel engine and low mileage.” Despite being 17 years old, the seller claims that the engine, chassis, and transmission are all original.
The exterior has been significantly modified from the original Ford Transit. From pillar B onwards, the rear has been converted into a living area, resulting in larger dimensions of 5,899 x 2,300 x 2,930 mm. The vehicle’s weight is 2,793 kg, and the gross weight is 3,500 kg. Photos show that the headlight housing has turned slightly yellow, which is understandable given the age of the vehicle.
The interior offers a cozy, mini-apartment feel with amenities such as three beds, a toilet, three cooking stoves, a large refrigerator, a TV for entertainment, and a dining table. Many wooden details inside the cabin create a luxurious feel. The original 16-seat configuration has been modified to a total of six seats. Four rear seats are arranged around a table, perfect for family gatherings or entertaining guests.
This modified Ford Transit motorhome is being offered for sale at a price of around 1.1 billion VND. It is an excellent choice for families who love to travel by car but still want the comforts of home, without worrying about age limits or future registration issues.
