The AI Awards were held as part of the Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival 2024, an event directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology and organized by VnExpress. The awards aim to recognize outstanding artificial intelligence (AI) products and solutions. This year, over 70 AI products across various industries, including healthcare, security surveillance, traffic safety, finance, and enterprise management, participated in the awards.
DNSE, a company known for its technological advancements in the securities industry, developed Ensa, the first virtual securities assistant in the market. The project was recognized by the judging panel as a Notable AI Project 2024 and awarded the title “Breakthrough AI Solution in the Financial Sector”. Alongside DNSE, the AI Awards 2024 honored several other innovative solutions, including CodeVista’s AI-powered code writing simplification tool, Minh Phúc Transformation’s OmiBot virtual assistant, MEDCAT’s MedCAT AI Insurance platform, FPT AI Mentor’s automated training process solution, and Enfarm’s agricultural technology for measuring and consulting on plant nutrition.
With the goal of creating a virtual assistant that addresses the shortcomings of traditional models, the DNSE team combined AI with securities data to develop Ensa. Ensa is the first virtual assistant built in a chatbot format, providing investment ideas and answering queries directly on the Entrade X by DNSE securities platform.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh, DNSE’s Technology Director, shared the inspiration behind Ensa, stating that up to 90% of investors are overwhelmed by information overload, lacking specialized analysis tools, and missing investment opportunities. “In the securities industry, quick access to information and data analysis is key to market success. As a specialized AI assistant, Ensa is pioneering in the Vietnamese market, and we believe that with our improving data analysis infrastructure and personalized information and investment suggestions, Ensa will become a trusted companion for investors,” said Mr. Binh.
Currently, Ensa automatically updates market news from reliable sources in real time, alerting investors to market fluctuations and helping them proactively protect their portfolios. By combining AI with in-depth market data, the expertise of leading consultants, and analysis of past transaction data, Ensa can provide personalized investment ideas and recommendations based on diverse investment philosophies.
Utilizing AI algorithms and large language models, Ensa takes a proactive approach by initiating two-way interactions and suggesting information that investors may be interested in without waiting for queries.
In the securities industry, timely information and emotional control are crucial for market success. The virtual assistant model helps investors save time, providing an objective perspective based on data and helping them make transactions without the influence of emotions.
In terms of efficiency, while traditional brokers can serve 20-50 investors at a time, a virtual assistant like Ensa can cater to thousands of customers simultaneously, helping securities companies optimize their resources effectively. According to Mr. Binh, Ensa has already made a significant impact, attracting over 11,100 users and handling more than 135,000 queries in just six months since its launch.
In addition to Ensa, DNSE has continuously pushed the boundaries of technology with innovations such as the Margin Deal transaction management and lending system, the Future X derivatives trading system with automatic order placement, and the first securities account on the Zalo Pay e-wallet.
The recognition of Ensa as the “Breakthrough AI Solution in the Financial Sector” at the AI Awards 2024 not only highlights the potential of AI applications in finance but also affirms DNSE’s efforts as a pioneering technology-driven securities company, committed to simplifying investment for Vietnamese people through world-class solutions.
