VietinBank to Convene Extraordinary General Meeting for Election of Additional Board Member

The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade of Vietnam, more commonly known as VietinBank, has announced a resolution by its Board of Directors to convene an extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2024. The primary purpose of this meeting is to elect additional members to the Board of Directors for the term 2024-2029.

VietinBank is planning to hold an extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders on October 17, 2024, in a physical format at the VietinBank Training and Human Resources Development Institute, An Trai Village, Van Canh Commune, Hoai Duc District, Hanoi.

The agenda of the meeting includes the election of additional members to the Board of Directors for the term 2024-2029, along with other matters as stipulated by laws and the bank’s charter.

According to the bank’s website, the current Board comprises nine members, led by Chairman Mr. Tran Minh Binh. The other members include Mr. Le Thanh Tung, Mr. Tran Van Tan, Mr. Nguyen The Huan, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Hoai, Mr. Koji Iriguchi, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, Mr. Takeo Shimotsu, and Independent Board Member Mr. Cat Quang Duong.
