Vinpearl, a leading Vietnamese hospitality and tourism brand, has recently issued 750 international bonds with a face value of $200,000 each, totaling $150 million. These bonds have a maturity of 5 years and will mature on August 20, 2029.

In April 2024, Vinpearl disclosed its 2023 financial targets to the Hanoi Stock Exchange, showing a reduced debt-to-equity ratio of 2.31, down from 5.61 in the previous year. This reduction corresponds to a decrease in the company’s debt value by approximately VND 30,800 billion, with outstanding bonds amounting to over VND 12,500 billion.

In terms of business performance, Vinpearl reported a profit of VND 670.6 billion this year, following a significant profit of VND 4,230 billion in 2022. With these results, the company achieved an ROE of 5% (compared to 49% last year). Additionally, their equity capital increased by 57% to VND 13,316 billion.

In late November 2023, Vingroup announced the separation of Vinpearl and the establishment of a new company, named CTCP Thuong mai va Kinh doanh Ngoc Viet, with a chartered capital of VND 20,420.1 billion, over 99.96% of which is owned by Vingroup.

As part of the restructuring of Vinpearl, the company’s board of directors also approved plans for its listing on the stock exchange in 2024.

Vinpearl is renowned for its luxury five-star and above hotels and resorts, with a portfolio that includes 36 properties and over 18,500 hotel and villa rooms across Vietnam’s top 17 tourist destinations, including Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Danang, Nam Hoi An, and Ha Long. Brand Finance, a leading brand valuation organization, ranked Vinpearl among the Top 50 most valuable brands in Vietnam in 2023 and in the Top 3 for brand strength.

Starting with the Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang, the brand has grown exponentially over the past 20 years, solidifying its position as a leading hospitality and tourism brand in Vietnam.
