Jetour has unveiled its new Shanhai L6 plug-in hybrid SUV in the Chinese market. The vehicle is offered in three variants: Pro, Max, and Ultra, with prices ranging from 123,900 to 144,900 CNY (approximately 433 to 506 million VND).
The Jetour Shanhai L6 is a C-segment SUV with dimensions of 4,630 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,684/1,690 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2,720 mm.
The exterior of the SUV features a closed-off grille with sharp, layered lines, and inverted-trapezoidal lower air intakes. Other design elements include traditional door handles, hidden exhaust pipes, and see-through taillights.
The interior of the Jetour Shanhai L6 comes in two color options: Dynamic Gray and Racing Blue. The standard Pro variant is equipped with power-adjustable/heated side mirrors, a 9.2-inch instrument cluster, a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, leather upholstery, a 6-way manually adjustable driver seat, a 4-way manually adjustable passenger seat, remote control, voice recognition, a 6-speaker audio system, and the Huawei HiCar system.
The higher-end Max variant adds power-folding side mirrors, automatic wipers, a power tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, a 9.2-inch TFT LCD instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, 50W wireless charging, an 8-speaker audio system, and single-color ambient lighting.
Additionally, the Max variant is equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, traffic jam assist, forward collision warning, and traffic sign recognition.
The top-of-the-line Ultra variant of the Jetour Shanhai L6 features a 64-color ambient lighting system, a 9-speaker Sony audio system, a rear center armrest with cup holders, a 4-way power-adjustable passenger seat, a driver seat with lumbar support and cooling/heating functions, a heated steering wheel, a roof rack, and intelligent AI-interactive taillights.
Furthermore, the Ultra variant is equipped with front parking radar, a driver-facing camera, lane-change assist, open-door warning, blind-spot monitoring, facial recognition, and driver fatigue monitoring.
The Jetour Shanhai L6 is powered by Chery’s C-DM Kunpeng super hybrid system, which pairs an electric motor with a 1.5T GDI ACTECO engine of the fifth generation and a 1DHT transmission.
The powertrain delivers a combined output of 154 hp and 220 Nm of torque, with the electric motor contributing 201 hp and 310 Nm.
A 19.43 kWh lithium-ternary battery provides an all-electric range of up to 125 km (under the CLTC standard) or 91 km (under the WLTC standard). The total combined range of the Shanhai L6 is an impressive 1,400 km.
Remarkably, the Jetour Shanhai L6 boasts exceptional fuel efficiency, consuming just 1.25 liters of fuel per 100 km. This is even lower than the fuel consumption of popular motorcycles such as the Honda Wave Alpha (1.90 liters/100 km) and the Honda Vision (1.85 liters/100 km).
