Saigon Jewelry Company kept the price of its gold rings steady at 77.3 – 78.55 million VND per tael, the same as the previous day. Bao Tin Minh Chau Jewelry Company also increased the price of its plain gold rings to 77.32 – 78.52 million VND per tael.

Both gold bar and ring prices remained unchanged but stayed at high levels.
Major gold businesses such as Doji and Phu Quy listed the selling price of gold rings at 78.55 million VND per tael. The selling price of SJC gold bars was also kept unchanged at 81 million VND per tael by enterprises.
Domestic gold prices have been almost unchanged in recent days, while world gold prices have slightly increased to 2,424 USD/ounce.
According to businesses, the stability in domestic gold prices over the past few days is due to the decreasing gold demand from local people.
Earlier, on August 27, Vietcombank announced that it would stop direct gold sales and implement the sale of SJC gold bars through its digital banking app, VCB Digibank. Accordingly, individual Vietnamese customers only need to select the maximum quantity, location, and time for receiving the SJC gold bars at the counter and then proceed with the transaction.
