The Upcoming Land Auction in the Outskirts of Hanoi: A Prime Opportunity for Investors

Partnership Auction Company Lac Viet has announced the auction of 30 land plots in TT01, TT03, TT04, TT06, and TT07 of the Dá»™c Tranh area in Trach My Loc and Xuan Dinh communes, Phuc Tho District, Hanoi. The auction will also include 09 land plots in TT08 of the Dong Phuong area in Tho Loc commune and 11 land plots in the Huong Nam area in Xuan Dinh commune, bringing the total number of plots up for auction to 50.

The auction will be held in the form of a closed-bid, direct, one-round vote, with results announced publicly at the auction event. The event is scheduled to take place at 2 pm on September 10th.

In the Dá»™c Tranh area, the land plots range in size from 96 to 148 square meters, with a starting price of 23.4 million VND per square meter. In the Dong Phuong area, the land plots are all approximately 134 square meters in size, with a starting price of 19.8 million VND per square meter. Meanwhile, in the Huong Nam area, the land plots range from 99.3 to 196.8 square meters, with a starting price of 25 million VND per square meter.

According to a survey, land prices in Phuc Tho District fluctuate between 9 and 45 million VND per square meter, with the most common price in the second quarter of 2024 being 19.7 million VND per square meter. This price reflects a 121% increase over the past five years. Compared to the peak price of 25.6 million VND per square meter in the second quarter of 2023, the current price is 23% lower. Thus, the starting price of the 50 land plots to be auctioned in September seems to be in line with the market value.

Previously, Partnership Auction Company Lac Viet also announced the auction of 66 land plots in My Duc District, with the auction taking place at 2 pm on September 13th.

On September 8th, Thanh Oai District, Hanoi, will also hold an auction for 57 land plots in the Dam area of Muc Xa village, Cao Duong commune.

In summary, the districts of Phuc Tho, My Duc, and Thanh Oai will be auctioning a total of 173 land plots in September.

On the other hand, on August 22nd, Partnership Auction Company Lac Viet announced the cancellation of the auction of 52 land plots, which had a maximum price of 133 million VND per square meter.

Recently, National Partnership Auction Company No. 5 also announced a temporary halt to the auction of 27 land plots in Phu Luong, Yen Nghia, and Duong Noi wards of Ha Dong District.

These 27 land plots are located in the Ha Khau field area (Phu Luong ward), Dong Dan – Dong Coc area, Dong Bo – Dong Chuc – Cua Cau – Dong Men area (Phu Luong ward), Chua Sau area (Yen Nghia ward), and Duoc area (Duong Noi ward).

The auction halt is in response to a request from the Ha Dong District Project Investment Construction Management Board. The auction will be organized in accordance with regulations as soon as a decision is made by the competent authority.
