Vinamilk Announces Generous Dividend Payout for 2023-2024
Vinamilk shareholders are in for a treat as the company has announced a total dividend payout of VND 2,450 per share, equivalent to a 9.5% payout ratio for the final installment of 2023 and a 15% advance for the first installment of 2024. The payment is expected to be made on October 24.
With nearly 2.09 billion shares in circulation, Vietnam’s largest dairy company will need to shell out approximately VND 5.1 trillion for this dividend payment.
The largest shareholder, the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC), which owns 36% of Vinamilk, is set to receive over VND 1.84 trillion in cash dividends. The next two major shareholders, F&N Dairy Investments and Platinum Victory, will also receive dividends of over VND 1 trillion each, proportional to their ownership stakes.
