Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport is preparing for a busy National Day holiday, with an expected daily passenger volume of 120,000 from August 30 to September 3, totaling an estimated 600,000 passengers. This marks an 8% increase from the current daily average of 110,000 passengers.
To meet the surge in demand, airlines are planning to operate approximately 700 flights per day, a 5% increase compared to regular operations. The peak days are expected to be August 30 and September 3, with a projected passenger count of 125,000 each day.

To ensure smooth operations, the airport authorities have coordinated with relevant units to develop comprehensive plans and service arrangements, including enhanced security and order maintenance.
During the National Day holiday, a dedicated team comprising members of the Tan Son Nhat Airport Youth Union and the Youth Union of the Aviation Academy will be on hand to assist passengers at the security screening area and the domestic terminal lobby during peak hours from 5 am to 9 am daily.
To prevent any inconvenience to passengers, the airport has instructed airline representatives to be present at the counters to provide timely information and handle any issues related to flight delays or cancellations.
