A bird’s-eye view of the construction project located on Co Linh Street in Long Bien District, Hanoi. The project, known as CT2, involves the development of residential apartments and is led by Hanoi Delux Trading and Construction Company Limited as the main investor.

The project boasts four tower blocks, namely Eco1, Eco2, Eco3, and Eco4, which are further divided into two clusters: Eco1 and Eco2, and Eco3 and Eco4. Each tower stands at 16 stories tall, complemented by two basement levels and a technical penthouse.

As observed, the project is currently in the basement construction phase.

However, the ongoing construction has taken a toll on Co Linh Street, with multiple instances of subsidence and cracked pavement observed in the area.

Consequently, Hanoi Delux Trading and Construction Company Limited was fined VND 180 million by authorities for violating regulations pertaining to construction quality management.

Additionally, the construction team has been reprimanded for encroaching on the Co Linh sidewalk and the entrance lane to Tu Dinh Market with their fencing, leaving only a meter of sidewalk from the curb.

Co Linh Street has suffered a 25-meter-long, 3-meter-wide, and 0.5 to 1.2-meter-deep landslide, in addition to other subsidence spots.

Authorities have requested that the investor take immediate remedial action to repair and restore the road to its original state by November 30, 2024.

The cracked and damaged pavement has gone unaddressed for an extended period.

In contrast, the investor has hastily “patched up” several other sections of the road.
