According to Vingroup’s reviewed semi-annual financial statements for 2024 (stock code: VIC), VinWonders Nha Trang’s revenue and pre-tax profit for the first six months of 2024 reached VND 3,671 billion and VND 1,898 billion, respectively. This equates to a profit of over VND 1 for every VND 2 in revenue generated by the amusement park project’s owner.

VinWonders Nha Trang was only consolidated into Vingroup in February 2024. In the two months before the purchase, the company reported revenue and profit of VND 200 billion and VND 25 billion, respectively.

Vingroup shared that in February 2024, the corporation acquired a 99% ownership stake in VinWonders Nha Trang from its partners for a total fee of VND 10,319 billion. Following this transaction, VinWonders Nha Trang became a subsidiary of the group.

At the time of the business consolidation, VinWonders Nha Trang’s assets amounted to VND 15,290 billion, primarily consisting of fixed assets (VND 10,277 billion), inventory (VND 3,350 billion), and long-term assets under construction (VND 1,123 billion).

On the other side of the balance sheet, the company’s liabilities stood at VND 5,627 billion, mainly comprising short-term debt (VND 3,886.6 billion) and deferred income tax payable (VND 1,738 billion).

VinWonders Nha Trang is currently the investor in the amusement and resort project bearing the same name on Hon Tre Island in Nha Trang City. Previously known as VinPearl Nha Trang, the project was established in 2006 and spans over 200,000 square meters, offering premium amusement and resort facilities.
