With less than 20 days to go until the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Xuan Dinh craft village in Xuan Tao ward, Bac Tu Liem district, Hanoi, is already bustling with customers. The traditional mooncake manufacturers in this area are busy day and night, producing a plethora of delicious treats for the upcoming holiday.
Our correspondent observed that the Mooncake shops in Xuan Dinh village were bustling with customers. To avoid traffic congestion, many people had to park their vehicles outside the village. The traditional Mooncakes come in a variety of designs and are priced between 25,000 and 60,000 VND each.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the village of Xuan Dinh comes alive with the aroma of freshly baked Mooncakes and the sound of bustling crowds.
Ms. Do Thi Huong Cha, Chairman of Xuan Tao Ward, stated that the traditional cake, jam, and candy craft village of Xuan Dinh currently has over a dozen households producing traditional Mooncakes. During holidays and festivals, the village attracts customers from far and wide. Ms. Cha emphasized that all production facilities must adhere to strict standards and obtain food safety certificates.
Despite it being only the early days of August in the lunar calendar, many mooncake sellers have already put up discount signs or promotions such as “buy two get one free” or even “buy one get one free”. Is this for real?
