The People’s Committee of Binh Duong province recently convened to discuss preparations for the ceremony announcing the Provincial Planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision towards 2050, which was approved by the Prime Minister earlier in August (referred to as the Provincial Planning). The event will also promote the province’s Top 1 ICF status and facilitate investment promotion for 2024.
According to the plan, Binh Duong province is expected to organize a ceremony to announce the Provincial Planning in conjunction with promoting its Top 1 ICF status and investment facilitation. This will be accompanied by the groundbreaking ceremony for key projects, including the Cay Truong Industrial Park, on September 25th.
In recent months, Bau Bang district, provincial departments, and functional units in Binh Duong province have been expediting compensation and site clearance work for the construction of the Cay Truong Industrial Park project.
Strategically located near National Highway 13 and the under-construction Ho Chi Minh Road, the Cay Truong Industrial Park enjoys excellent connectivity. Notably, a 10-lane road has been constructed to link the industrial parks of Bau Bang district with the Cay Truong Industrial Park project.
The project’s planning scheme, with a 1/2,000 construction detail ratio, was approved by the Provincial People’s Council in November 2023. The Cay Truong Industrial Park is located in Lai Uyen town and Cay Truong II commune, Bau Bang district.
As per the approved scheme, the Cay Truong Industrial Park spans approximately 700 hectares and is expected to accommodate around 35,000 workers.
The Cay Truong Industrial Park is envisioned as a multi-sectoral industrial hub, attracting investment projects across various industries aligned with the province’s socio-economic development orientation.
