On September 22, according to Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, the People’s Committee of Duc Trong District issued a document directing the District Land Development Center and the Department of Economics and Infrastructure to implement the decisions of the Chief Inspector of Lam Dong Province.
Accordingly, the District Land Development Center is required to pay an amount of nearly VND 1.2 billion for making incorrect estimates, acceptance, and payment to Minh Hung Construction Consulting Co., Ltd. during the formulation of the detailed planning project for the Residential Area and the Administrative Center south of Da Nhim River, Lien Nghia town.
Meanwhile, the Department of Economics and Infrastructure has to pay over VND 691 million for their improper acceptance and payment to the Southern Institute of Planning and Architecture during the formulation of the general planning project for Duc Trong urban area and the expanded planning of Lien Nghia town.
These two units must refund the above amounts to the inspection team’s temporary holding account within 15 days.
