Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh answers questions

After the question-and-answer session with three members of the Government, including the Governor of the State Bank, the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Information and Communications, this afternoon, November 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directly answered the National Assembly deputies’ questions at the 8th session.

This information was announced by National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man in his opening speech at the session of questioning and answering on the morning of November 11.

“Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, on behalf of the Government, will clarify issues related to the Government’s direction and directly answer the questions of the National Assembly deputies at the end of the questioning session,” said Mr. Tran Thanh Man.

According to the agenda, from 15:10 to 15:30, the Prime Minister reported on clarifying related issues. After the break, from 15:50 to 16:35, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will answer the National Assembly deputies’ questions.

After that, the National Assembly Chairman will have 10 minutes to conclude the session of questioning and answering.

In accordance with the regulations of the National Assembly session, the questioning session at the 8th session continues to be conducted in a “quick question, brief answer” manner.

The National Assembly Chairman said that each time, the presiding officer of the session will invite three deputies to ask questions, with each deputy asking no more than one minute, focusing on 1-2 issues that they are most interested in.

Deputies are entitled to debate with the person answering the question to clarify the issue further. However, the Chairman of the National Assembly noted that the questioner should not use the right to debate to ask questions or debate with deputies who have questioned before.

The time for each debate should not exceed two minutes, and the answer should not exceed three minutes for each question.
