## Police Investigating Land Management Violations in Lam Dong Province
On the evening of November 20, the police of Bao Lam District, Lam Dong Province, in collaboration with the local People’s Procuracy, issued decisions to prosecute and arrest two leaders of Minh Rong Tea Joint Stock Company for violating land management regulations.

Le Dinh Thuan (52 years old, Director of Minh Rong Tea Joint Stock Company) and Nguyen Huu Giang (62 years old, Deputy Director of Minh Rong Tea Joint Stock Company) have been prosecuted and detained.
Subsequently, the Investigation Agency searched the workplace of the two accused at Minh Rong Tea Joint Stock Company.
According to the investigating authorities, the violations committed by Mr. Thuan and Mr. Giang are related to the company’s leased land area in Loc Thang town, Bao Lam District. This involves the implementation of a policy to sell off gardens, totaling 24.5 hectares.
On October 23, 2024, the Investigation Agency of Bao Lam District Public Security had prosecuted and temporarily detained Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, former Vice Chairman of Bao Lam District People’s Committee, regarding irregularities at Minh Rong Tea Joint Stock Company.
On November 19, the People’s Council of Bao Lam District issued Resolution No. 28 on the dismissal of Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh from the position of Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Bao Lam District, term V (2021-2026).
Previously, the Bao Lam District Police had prosecuted and detained two other individuals: Mr. Nguyen Ba Dong, former Head of the District’s Natural Resources and Environment Office, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, an official of the same office, for violations of land management regulations.
The case is currently under further investigation to handle related individuals involved in the above violations.
