This is the second time that the Kotler Awards have been held in Vietnam. The Kotler Awards is an esteemed international award founded by Professor Philip Kotler to honor businesses and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of marketing, business, and strategic management.
Based on the criteria of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, this category aims to recognize individuals and organizations that have brought about positive changes in the community through innovative, effective, and sustainable initiatives.
At the 2024 Kotler Awards, the Hoa Sen Group’s charitable program, “Vietnamese Family Home,” was honored in the “Excellent Impactful Community” category. This is a well-deserved recognition of the Hoa Sen Group’s relentless efforts in fulfilling its mission of “sharing happiness with the community” and spreading love to orphaned children across the country.
Moreover, this award serves as a tremendous motivator for the program’s team, inspiring them to continue striving and making even more significant contributions by creating meaningful projects that promote positive and sustainable values in the community.
With the mission of “sharing happiness with the community,” the “Vietnamese Family Home” program has left a profound impression on the public, becoming a phenomenon in the field of charity and gaining widespread attention on social media platforms, as well as in the press and media. Wherever the “Vietnamese Family Home” travels, the team receives an outpouring of love and support from the local community.
Over the course of more than two years, the “Vietnamese Family Home” has achieved numerous milestones, including: Second Prize in the “Integrated Media and Communications” category at the 2023 Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards – a category under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; winning the “Brand with Meaningful Social Activities” category at the 2023 Vietnam Creative Advertising Awards; being nominated twice at the Mai Vang Awards in 2022 and 2023 in the “Most Favorite Digital and Television Program” category; and being nominated for the Project category at the 2023 Human Act Prize – the “Action for Community” Award.
In 2024, the program was ranked among the Top 1 Community Campaigns on Social Media in the Construction and Building Materials industry for the first half of the year. It has consistently been included in the BSI Top 10 Social Media rankings for several consecutive months, as announced by Buzzmetrics. Recently, “Vietnamese Family Home” was nominated for the “Inspirational Television Program” category, and its sponsor, the Hoa Sen Group, was nominated for the “Community Organization” category at the 2024 Vietnam iContent Awards. The program also received four nominations at the 2024 Vietnam Creative Awards (Vạn Xuân Awards).
To date, 116 episodes of the program have been produced, reaching over 40 provinces and supporting 348 families in difficult circumstances, including many families with 4-5 orphaned children deprived of their parents’ love.
The total value of prizes awarded by the Hoa Sen Group exceeds VND 11 billion. With the support of 230 guests, including renowned artists, beauty queens, and athletes from various fields, the program has raised nearly VND 6 billion. This amount has significantly helped families alleviate economic burdens and ensure that the orphaned children can continue their education.
The program’s success stems from the synergy of the sponsor’s dedication, the production team’s efforts, the local authorities’ support, the artists’ noble gestures, and, most importantly, the compassion of people from all over the country. Together, they have written heartwarming stories, spreading humanitarian values within the community.
The “Vietnamese Family Home” program airs every Friday at 8:20 PM on HTV7. It is produced by Bee Communications in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City Television, with the support of the Hoa Sen Home Construction Materials & Furniture Superstore System (Hoa Sen Group) and Hoa Sen Plastic Pipes – Leading Happiness.
