The Board of Directors of IDC authorized Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhu Mai, Chairwoman of the IDC Board of Directors, to represent the company’s capital contribution at IDICO-INC.
As of the end of the third quarter, IDC had a total of 17 subsidiaries, and IDICO-INC will be the 18th subsidiary of the Enterprise.
Regarding personnel, Mr. Nguyen Van Minh, Deputy General Director of IDC, has recently submitted his resignation and terminated his labor contract with IDC as of January 11, 2025, for personal reasons.
Mr. Nguyen Van Minh (born in 1977) is a Civil Engineer by profession. He began working at IDICO in August 2002 and has held the position of Deputy General Director in charge of project management at IDC from June 2019 until now. Thus, Mr. Minh wishes to leave IDC after more than 22 years of dedication. He currently holds 1,320 shares, representing 0.0004% of the capital at IDC.
In addition to IDC, Mr. Minh also holds several positions in other organizations, including Chairman of Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment Joint Stock Company in Que Vo IDICO, Chairman of Thai Binh Construction Investment Joint Stock Company IDICOm, Member of the Board of Directors of Bien Hoa – Vung Tau Expressway Development Joint Stock Company, Member of the Members’ Council of My Xuan International Port Company Limited, and Chairman of IDICO Vinh Quang Joint Stock Company.
On December 16, IDICO, in collaboration with the Management Board of Industrial Zones (IZs) of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), organized a workshop to kick-start the project for building a smart IZ model with an ecological orientation.
IDC shared that the Phu My II and Phu My II expanded IZs are projects implemented with technical support from JICA to develop smart IZ management and operation solutions to optimize energy use, maximize emission reduction, and negatively impact the environment, positively contributing to the socio-economic development of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province.
Previously, in September 2024, Petroleum Construction Joint Stock Company IDICO (UPCoM: ICN) – a subsidiary in which IDC holds a 51% stake – was approved for investment in the My Xuan B1-CONAC expanded IZ project in Ba Ria – Vung Tau province, with a total area of 111 hectares and a total investment of nearly VND 2,000 billion. According to ACBS, the addition of this project increased the remaining saleable area of IDC by 6% to 961 hectares as of the end of Q3/2024.
