Ahamove’s Strategic Partnership with Selex Motors: Electrifying Last-Mile Delivery
On June 17, 2025, Ahamove announced a strategic collaboration with Selex Motors, deploying 1,000 Selex Camel electric motorcycles into its delivery fleet. 300 of these eco-friendly vehicles were introduced at the event, managed and operated by Gopika, marking one of Ahamove’s first large-scale electric vehicle initiatives. This transition is aligned with Ho Chi Minh City’s goal to convert approximately 400,000 fuel-powered bikes used by delivery and ride-hailing drivers to electric alternatives, supporting Vietnam’s net-zero emission pledge made at COP26.
Ahamove is taking decisive action to embrace electrification, driven by the urgency to reduce emissions. The adoption of Selex Camel electric motorcycles not only contributes to environmental sustainability but also enhances operational efficiency and optimizes costs for both drivers and the company.
The Selex Camel is purpose-built for cargo transportation, featuring a sturdy frame, a substantial 225 kg payload capacity, and a customizable cargo box. The vehicles are painted in Ahamove’s brand colors, showcasing a unified fleet image. One of the most remarkable features of the Selex Camel is its ultra-fast battery swap technology, allowing drivers to exchange batteries in just 2 minutes, eliminating the lengthy charging times associated with conventional electric vehicles. This innovative solution saves time and money while ensuring uninterrupted delivery operations. Selex Motors is the sole provider of this advanced battery swap technology in Vietnam.
Beyond the vehicles themselves, Selex’s battery and swap station infrastructure forms a long-term strategy to develop a shared energy ecosystem accessible to all vehicle brands in the market. Selex batteries have gained the trust of prominent enterprises such as Son Ha, DKBike, and leading logistics players, including Grab, Be, Lazada, Gtel Post, and Viettel Post.
Mr. Phan Tuong Bach, representing Ahamove, shared his vision: “Our ambition extends beyond the initial 1,000 vehicles. Ahamove aims to convert up to 100,000 bikes to Selex electric motorcycles in the future.”
