Mitsubishi Xforce Discounted to a Record Low: Massive Price Slash to 539 Million VND, Posing a Serious Challenge to Yaris Cross and Creta

Mitsubishi Xforce, the GLX standard version, is back in stock and is offering massive discounts. In July, the vehicle was supported with a 50% registration fee discount from the manufacturer, and in August, the version is being offered with a 100% registration fee support, equivalent to 60 million VND. This is not the first time the Xforce GLX has been offered with a 100% registration fee support, but the previous program was offered by dealers and not the manufacturer.

Excluding the registration fee support, car buyers only need to pay 539 million VND to own the Xforce GLX (excluding on-road costs). This “effective price” of the Xforce is much lower than its competitors, such as the Hyundai Creta (564 million VND after discounts) or the Kia Seltos (569 million VND after discounts).

Not only the GLX version, but other versions of the Xforce, such as the Premium and Ultimate, also come with discounts. These versions are supported with a 50% registration fee discount and are given fuel vouchers worth 15-21 million VND depending on the version.

The Xforce is currently one of the two best-selling Mitsubishi models in Vietnam. In its segment, the Xforce and Yaris Cross compete for the top two spots in sales. In June 2025, the Xforce climbed back to the top position in the segment with 1,431 units sold. The automotive sales figures for July have not yet been announced.

The best-selling model of the Japanese brand in Vietnam remains the Xpander. This model also consistently offers deep discounts month after month.

For example, in August, all Xpander versions (including the Xpander Cross) are supported with a 50% registration fee discount. The Xpander versions also come with fuel vouchers worth 15-20 million VND, and the AT Premium version is offered with vehicle insurance worth 9 million VND and a 360-degree camera worth 20 million VND. The MT version, with a 2024 production year, is given a rearview camera. The Xpander Cross is offered with a 50% registration fee discount, a 20-million-VND fuel voucher, and a 360-degree camera worth 20 million VND.

The Attrage is the second model of the brand to be offered with a 100% registration fee support, applicable to the MT version. This version is also given a fuel voucher worth 8 million VND and a rearview camera worth 2.5 million VND. The higher-end CVT Premium version is supported with a 50% registration fee discount, a 20-million-VND fuel voucher, and a shark fin antenna worth 1.5 million VND.

For the Triton pickup truck model, a 50% registration fee discount and gifts worth 10 million VND are offered for all three versions. The standard version also comes with either six free oil changes at authorized service centers or a financial support package for installment payments.
