The memorandum of cooperation focuses on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in patient-centric activities to optimize treatment efficiency, enhance the healthcare team’s expertise, engage in community-focused charitable initiatives, support emergency medical situations, and expand international cooperation. Ultimately, these efforts aim to bring practical value to millions of Vietnamese families. As part of the signing ceremony, Long Châu and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital also demonstrated their commitment to working closely together for a healthier Vietnam.

Embracing Technology and Enhancing Professional Competence

Long Châu and the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital strategically partner to co-create a healthcare ecosystem for the well-being of Vietnamese people.

In addition to technology, the collaboration also emphasizes human capital. A team of leading doctors and experts from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital will work with Long Châu to organize in-depth training programs for the medical board, doctors, nurses, and pharmacists. This crucial step aims to standardize competencies and ensure absolute safety for customers, bringing us closer to our goal of becoming the “extended arm” of the medical industry in community healthcare.

Spreading the Spirit of Volunteering and Building a Sustainable and Humane Healthcare Ecosystem

With a people-centric approach, the collaboration between the two units continues to expand charitable activities, especially for the underprivileged and communities in remote areas. Free mobile medical examination and treatment trips will be jointly organized by leading doctors and experts from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, along with a team of over 20,000 pharmacists, doctors, and nurses working at 2,240 pharmacies and 190 vaccination centers across the country (as of August 2025). These efforts will contribute to strengthening prevention, early screening, and improving community health.

Long Châu partners with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital’s technology team to implement AI applications in healthcare.

With a long-term vision, Long Châu will expand and spread these journeys of sharing through the “Charity Trip” program, delivering health gifts and organizing other meaningful events. These activities carry not only humanitarian value but also contribute to community building and fostering social trust in a sustainable healthcare ecosystem.

Strengthening Professional Connections and International Cooperation

Another highlight is the establishment of a direct hotline between the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital and the Long Châu system of pharmacies and vaccination centers, creating a “safety net” for customers’ peace of mind in their healthcare journey. The connection between hospital healthcare and pharmacies and vaccination centers will enhance coordination and support for the community in various emergency medical situations that may arise within or near Long Châu’s business locations.

Extending the commitment to building a standard and safe healthcare ecosystem, the two parties also agreed to expand international cooperation, creating a bridge for the exchange of expertise between Vietnamese medical professionals and reputable hospitals and medical universities in the region and worldwide. The goal is to bring medical advances closer to the Vietnamese people and help patients easily access equitable and modern healthcare services, similar to those in developed countries.
