A strategic initiative will see 1,000 electric vehicles introduced for the E-Taxi service, with a partial fleet rollout planned for September 2025 in Con Dao and potential locations in Ho Chi Minh City. This will gradually expand to neighboring areas.

In parallel, Con Dao Group will deploy 50 electric buses in phases, starting in October 2025, under the brand name E-Bus Con Dao. These buses will connect the airport, ports, hotels, and key tourist attractions.

Notably, the service will not only focus on areas already vibrant with tourism and transportation options but will also target regions with limited access to taxi and ride-hailing services, such as Can Gio in Ho Chi Minh City, Phu Quoc in An Giang, and Phan Thiet and Phu Quy in Lam Dong.

Per the agreement, Con Dao Group will handle direct operations, tailoring the service to local needs. Xanh SM will provide the ride-hailing technology and vehicles, VinFast will develop the dealership and after-sales service network, and V-Green will invest in 1,000 charging stations to ensure sustainable operations.

For electric taxis, customers can conveniently book rides through the Xanh SM app, with pick-up options including airports, hotels, ports, or direct calls on the road. As for electric buses, passengers can board at designated stations for intra-island travel.

This network is expected to set a new standard, enhancing tourist experiences while alleviating pressure on traditional transportation infrastructure.
