On August 21st, the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province approved the 1/2000 zoning plan for the expansion of Que Vo Industrial Park 2. Previously, in late April, the province had approved Kinh Bac Urban Development Corporation (Kinh Bac City, stock code: KBC) as the investor for this project.
Que Vo Industrial Park 2 spans over 140.3 hectares, located in Bong Lai Ward, Phuong Lieu Ward, and Chi Lang Commune, Bac Ninh. It is approximately 600 meters west of the existing Que Vo Industrial Park. To the north of the project lies the Noi Bai – Bac Ninh – Ha Long Expressway, while the Duong River is just over 2 kilometers to the south.
Kinh Bac City announced that construction is expected to commence in Q1 2026 and be completed by Q4 2029. Operations are slated to begin as early as Q2 2028.

The total investment for Que Vo Industrial Park 2 is 1.878 trillion VND, with construction costs accounting for 1.176 trillion VND and land compensation costs at 702 billion VND.
Currently, KBC has invested in three industrial park projects in Bac Ninh, including Que Vo Industrial Park, Que Vo Industrial Park Expansion, and Nam Son – Hap Linh Industrial Park. Thus, Que Vo Industrial Park 2 will be the company’s fourth industrial project in the province.
KBC aims to develop this industrial park into a multi-sector, high-tech zone, focusing on attracting investment in electronics, electronic components, precision mechanics, and other advanced industries.
Kinh Bac City stated that Que Vo Industrial Park 2 is designed to build upon the success of the original Que Vo Industrial Park and its first expansion (totaling 611 hectares), which was KBC’s inaugural project in Bac Ninh Province, starting in 2003. Both of these projects have achieved 100% occupancy of their commercial land, attracting a total investment of over 3 billion USD.
Regarding business performance, according to the consolidated semi-annual financial report for 2025, Kinh Bac City generated a net revenue of over 3.691 trillion VND, a 253% increase compared to the first half of 2024. After deducting taxes and fees, the company reported a net profit of more than 1.250 trillion VND, nearly 6.4 times higher than the same period last year.
