VietinBank AMC has announced the selection of Dong A Joint Venture Auction Company to auction a debt of over VND 163 billion owed by Mr. Phan Cong Khanh and Ms. Le Kim Loan.

According to VietinBank AMC, the debt originated from credit contract No. 22.059.012/2022 signed on March 25, 2022, at VietinBank’s Ho Chi Minh City Branch 4. By September 24, 2025, the estimated total outstanding debt is over VND 163 billion, including nearly VND 125 billion in principal, over VND 37 billion in interest, and more than VND 356 million in penalty interest.

The collateral for the loan is the land use rights and assets attached to an area of 65,406 m² in Phuoc Thai Commune (formerly Phuoc Binh), Long Thanh District, Dong Nai Province. The land use rights certificate, issued in 2019, is under the names of Phan Cong Khanh and Le Kim Loan. The starting auction price is set at the exact debt amount, over VND 163 billion.

After the evaluation process, Dong A Joint Venture Auction Company scored 95/100 points and was selected as the auction organizer. Ho Chi Minh City Asset Auction Service Center scored 94/100 points but was not chosen.

In July, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Procuracy completed the indictment, charging Phan Cong Khanh (formerly residing in Ben Tre Province) with “Fraud to Appropriate Property.”

According to the indictment, Phan Cong Khanh and Huynh Xuan Van established K-Supper Trading and Service Co., Ltd. (K-Supper Company), specializing in high-end vehicle sales, at 6 Tran Hung Dao Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1 (formerly). Khanh and Van each contributed 50% of the capital, with Khanh serving as the director and legal representative. Van acted as deputy director, and Mohamach Da Pha was a collaborator.

Due to business losses, Khanh, along with Van and Mohamach Da Pha, conspired and used fraudulent tactics to carry out three cases of fraud.

Phan Cong Khanh is well-known in the luxury car and high-displacement motorcycle communities, often referred to as the “luxury car kingpin.” On his personal Facebook page, Khanh frequently shares photos and videos showcasing a range of luxury cars, including Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche.

Phan Cong Khanh was also a renowned volleyball player, dubbed the “king of street volleyball,” standing at 1.8 meters tall.

From 2008 to 2015, Phan Cong Khanh played professionally for the Ben Tre and Ho Chi Minh City teams and was called up to the national team. However, he retired due to a finger ligament injury. Since then, Mr. Phan Cong Khanh has pursued a career in luxury car trading.
