Recent reports indicate that the Honda CT125 Chums edition has begun its journey to Vietnam. This batch is imported by a private entity from Thailand, not distributed by Honda Vietnam. Notably, several Vietnamese customers have already placed deposits for this model.

The Honda CT125 Chums is being imported to Vietnam via a private importer.
The Honda CT125 Chums is a special edition, produced in a limited run of only 300 units. It is a collaboration between Honda and Chums, a brand renowned for its outdoor products like picnic and camping gear.
Unlike standard CT125 models, the Chums edition comes equipped with upgraded accessories tailored for outdoor adventures. These include a front rack, underbody protection, and handlebar guards. It also features a single seat with an embossed Chums logo and a small flag on the rear rack.
While the bike’s body is painted in a modern ivory white, the accessories and other details are finished in striking red and black, giving the bike a sporty and distinctive look.

Purchasers of the Honda CT125 Chums receive a bespoke accessory set called the Camp Gadget Set, which includes a camping chair, a thermal water bottle, a t-shirt, and a helmet. All these items feature designs matching the bike’s color scheme.

The accessory set features a design consistent with the bike’s aesthetic.
The Honda CT125 is a compact bike designed for uneven terrain. Its standard design is inspired by the classic Scrambler motorcycle style. The high-mounted exhaust is a signature feature of Scramblers, designed to improve water-fording capabilities.
In addition to this, both the standard Honda CT125 and the Chums edition are equipped with all-terrain tires and fork guards. They also feature advanced safety technology, including disc brakes on both wheels and ABS on the front wheel.

The Honda CT125 Chums is a limited-edition model.
In terms of the engine, the Honda CT125 Chums shares the same specifications as the standard model, featuring a 124cc engine delivering 8.8 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm.
The bike has an average fuel consumption of approximately 1.58 liters per 100 km. Compared to the Yamaha PG-1 in the same segment, the Honda CT125 offers similar power (PG-1: 8.85 hp / 9.5 Nm) but slightly lower fuel consumption (PG-1: 1.76 L/100 km).
It utilizes a 4-speed semi-automatic transmission, making it easy to operate, even for those unfamiliar with manual clutches.

The privately imported Honda CT125 Chums has a reference price of over 170 million VND.
In Vietnam, the Yamaha PG-1 is the flagship model in the small outdoor bike segment and the only one assembled and officially distributed. All Honda CT125 models in Vietnam are imported by private entities.
Due to private importation, the price is significantly higher than domestically assembled or officially distributed models. Reports indicate that the Honda CT125 Chums edition is priced above 170 million VND.
