After three years of organization, the Car Choice Awards, part of the Better Choice Awards system, has become a highly anticipated event for the automotive community, brands, and consumers. 2022 laid the foundation for a professional system, 2023 was a year of excitement, and 2024 was all about technology. Now, 2025 is set to explode with grandeur and unprecedented experiences under the theme “Accelerate Beyond Limits.”
New Award Categories
Following three successful seasons that have left a profound impact on the nationwide car user community, the Car Choice Awards (CCA) is back this year. With the theme “Accelerate Beyond Limits,” CCA 2025 is not just a celebration of the most suitable car models for various needs but also a bridge connecting consumers, brands, and the innovative trends shaping the future of Vietnam’s automotive industry.
“Content of the Year” is one of the new award categories at the 2025 Car Choice Awards.
While the previous season featured only 8 award categories, this year’s CCA expands to 13 categories:

Among these, new categories such as Content of the Year, Accelerating Brand (Automotive/Accessories), GenZ Car of the Year, and Hybrid Car of the Year make their debut. The Family Car of the Year category is now segmented by price range to better reflect market dynamics.
These changes aim to closely mirror the shifts in the automotive market over the past year. Family cars are no longer limited to spacious 5-7 seaters. Young families with limited budgets have their own unique needs. GenZ is emerging as a new consumer force with distinct preferences. Hybrid cars cater to those seeking an “electrified” experience without fully committing to electric vehicles. Notably, “Content of the Year” stands out as a unique category rarely seen in Vietnamese automotive awards.
A Fusion of Art, Cars, and Technology
With hundreds of thousands of votes from users nationwide, the Car Choice Awards continues to grow in popularity. The final results, combined with evaluations from the Professional Judging Panel, will be announced at the Gala Awards Ceremony on September 3rd at 6 PM at the National Innovation Center (NIC).
Beyond honoring brands, the Gala Better Choice Awards/Car Choice Awards 2025 is designed as a “visual feast” with a futuristic vibe. The stage draws inspiration from the “smart city, technology city” model, symbolizing the nation’s robust advancement. Equipped with smart LED screens and interactive lighting, the event space transforms into a modern urban landscape where light, screens, cars, and attendees merge into a vibrant whole.

A highlight of this year’s stage is the award area designed as a “boulevard” where cars can drive directly onto the stage—a first for the awards. Unlike traditional multi-tiered seating, all 1,500 seats are placed on a single level, creating an image of a tech-driven city where each attendee is a “citizen.” This innovative layout enhances interaction and the overall experience for participants.
Additionally, alongside the cars, Argos—the intelligent robot dog—may make an appearance, offering attendees an engaging interactive experience that underscores the awards’ spirit of creativity and technology.
Notably, the Gala will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung, leaders from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Innovation Center, and senior executives from domestic and international enterprises and startups. This underscores how BCA 2025 has transcended its role as a mere award, becoming a nexus between policy, business, and technology.
Blazing Music, A Sublime Gala Night
One of the Gala’s standout features is the massive screen enveloping the stage, delivering a stunning visual impact. Comprised of large LED panels, it symbolizes the nation’s spirit of innovation and aspiration.
The stars of the show are the award-winning cars “catwalking” on the “smart city boulevard.” This segment goes beyond showcasing design; the cars are driven by six familiar faces in the automotive world: Au Ngoc Phu, Trung Kien, Nguyen Vu, Toi Nguyen, Phan Tung, and Pham Ngoc Hai. Their presence transforms each car into a storytelling entity, fostering connection and familiarity with the audience.
