On October 8th, the Vietnam Digital Awards (VDA) 2025 ceremony was held at the Military Radio and Television Center in Hanoi, organized by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association and VietTimes e-Magazine. The event was attended by leaders from various ministries, state management agencies, and the technology business community.
At the event, MB was honored with three breakthrough technology solutions: the AI-powered transaction protection application for MB’s mobile app (App Protection), the end-to-end automation solution for unsecured loans targeting micro-enterprises (SMEs), and the technology-driven solution for fully automating credit limit renewal for micro-SMEs.
The AI-powered transaction protection application on MB’s mobile app demonstrates the bank’s commitment to ensuring absolute security for its 35 million customers. The integrated AI system detects and prevents fraudulent activities, cyber-attacks, and security threats in real-time, enhancing customer trust and experience in digital banking services.

The two automation solutions for micro-enterprises mark a significant step in the comprehensive digitalization of credit processes. Automation from registration to approval and disbursement significantly reduces processing time, minimizes paperwork, and enhances capital accessibility for small businesses. Notably, the automated credit limit renewal solution, based on data and transaction behavior analysis, allows customers to renew their credit limits quickly without complex procedures.
Held annually since 2018, under the patronage of the Ministry of Information and Communications, now the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Digital Awards has become one of the most prestigious programs recognizing pioneering efforts in digital transformation nationwide.
The 2025 edition, the eighth season, takes place as the country accelerates the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW by the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, making it a particularly significant event.
“This award is a testament to MB’s relentless efforts in applying advanced technology to enhance service quality and customer experience. With a vision to become a leading digital enterprise and financial group, MB continues to pioneer the digital transformation revolution in Vietnam’s banking sector, contributing positively to building a strong and prosperous digital Vietnam,” said an MB representative.
After six months of launch, Vietnam Digital Awards 2025 reached over 15,000 agencies, organizations, and businesses, receiving over 400 nominations, the highest number to date. Following a rigorous and objective evaluation process, 52 outstanding agencies, businesses, public units, and individuals in the national digital transformation journey were honored.
