The upcoming wedding of Miss Đỗ Thị Hà has captured public attention. Her fiancé, Nguyễn Viết Vương, is a 31-year-old entrepreneur and CEO of Sơn Hải Group. He is the son of Nguyễn Viết Hải, Chairman of the same conglomerate.
Established on April 13, 1998, Sơn Hải Group is headquartered in Quảng Bình Province. It is renowned as a leading enterprise in transportation infrastructure, having participated in dozens of major projects across Vietnam.
Between 2018 and 2024, Sơn Hải secured 22 contracts valued at over 25,204 billion VND, many with significant cost savings compared to initial estimates. Since the beginning of 2025, the group has won four more major infrastructure contracts, totaling over 2,600 billion VND.
In 2023, amidst favorable business conditions, the average monthly income of Sơn Hải employees rose to 24 million VND per person.
At the 2023 year-end review, 28 outstanding individuals from various roles—including roller operators, bulldozer drivers, truck drivers, crane operators, engineers, and managers—were honored, representing the 1,700 employees of Sơn Hải Group.
Among them, the lowest earner was a roller operator with over 270 million VND. Twelve others, including bulldozer, truck, crane, and tunnel drilling machine operators, earned between 312 and 348 million VND. Two technical and operational staff earned 416 and 492 million VND, respectively.
The 13 engineers and managers recognized included one earning nearly 500 million VND, with the rest surpassing 500 million VND. Notably, six managers earned up to 1,400 million VND in the past year.
Chairman Nguyễn Viết Hải also revealed that, in addition to timely salary payments, Sơn Hải allocated nearly 60 billion VND in bonuses for its employees in 2023.
Sơn Hải gained public attention in 2014 when it participated in the expansion of National Highway 1A. At the time, contractors typically offered a 2-year warranty, but Sơn Hải committed to a 5-year warranty for its two 15km packages in Quảng Bình Province.
In 2022, the group made headlines again by proposing a 10-year warranty for its expressway projects to the Ministry of Transport.
