These agreements aim to enhance training quality, scientific and technological research, human resource development, and technical services. Both parties agree to collaborate on a voluntary, equal, and mutually beneficial basis, fostering the shared growth of Petrovietnam and the national energy industry.
The collaboration between PVU and PVFCCo – Phu My and PV Drilling focuses on three key areas:
Training and Human Resource Development: Implementing a business-ordered training model where PVU trains engineers according to specific quantities and standards; PVU recommends suitable students for PVFCCo – Phu My and PV Drilling to consider for recruitment. Both companies prioritize hiring PVU graduates who meet their criteria; PV Drilling supports students in accessing advanced safety and technical training programs that meet international standards. Both companies facilitate student visits and internships at their departments, factories, drilling rigs, and research centers; experts and faculty from all parties participate in teaching, internship supervision, and specialized seminars.
Scientific Research and Technology: Collaborating on scientific research programs, technology transfer, and application to develop innovative solutions and improve existing products for PVFCCo – Phu My, while creating high-value applications for PV Drilling; sharing facilities, scientific data, and technical information to support production and research activities.
Student Support and Scholarships: PVFCCo – Phu My commits VND 1 billion to PVU’s scholarship fund; both PVFCCo – Phu My and PV Drilling consider supporting PVU through various means, including funding the Student Development Fund, awarding scholarships to outstanding or disadvantaged students, and providing equipment, tools, and software for teaching and research.
The agreements between PVU and PVFCCo – Phu My and PV Drilling are valid for 5 years from the signing date and may be extended upon mutual agreement.

At the ceremony, Mr. Ta Quang Huy, Deputy General Director of PVFCCo – Phu My, congratulated PVU on receiving the Quality Accreditation Certificate, affirming the university’s reputation within Vietnam’s higher education system. He also praised PVU’s faculty and students for organizing a dignified and warm graduation ceremony for master’s and engineering students, as well as the new academic year opening.
Mr. Ta Quang Huy noted that many PVU graduates currently working at PVFCCo – Phu My are highly regarded for their knowledge, professionalism, and adaptability to real-world production demands.
