Vietjet Thailand has welcomed its newest aircraft at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok. This marks the first of 50 aircraft to be delivered and operated by Vietjet Thailand between now and 2028. The expansion aims to meet the growing travel demand and enhance connectivity across key destinations in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Boeing fleet is a strategic investment for Vietjet Thailand. The airline will launch its first commercial flight using the Boeing 737-8 on the domestic route Bangkok–Chiang Mai, followed by its first international route Bangkok–Cam Ranh in December 2025. In Vietnam, the airline continues to operate its Airbus fleet. Leveraging its expertise in operating next-generation aircraft and a global partner ecosystem, Vietjet is strengthening its international network through key aviation hubs in the Asia-Pacific region and gradually expanding to Europe and the Americas.

The Boeing 737-8 features advanced aerodynamics and the latest LEAP-1B engines, fully compatible with sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). This reduces CO2 emissions by 15–20% and noise levels by up to 50% according to ICAO standards. With a maximum range of 6,570 km, the aircraft can operate on longer routes, connecting more distant destinations. The Boeing Sky Interior design offers a spacious and modern cabin, along with larger overhead bins, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey for passengers.

BSR Maintains BB+ Credit Rating with Stable Outlook for Three Consecutive Years
Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) has received the 2025 credit rating results from the international credit rating agency Fitch Ratings. Fitch has affirmed BSR’s overall credit rating at BB+ with a Stable outlook (BB+/Stable). This rating is consistent with the credit ratings of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) and the Vietnamese government.
