On December 14, 2025, the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS), Mastercard, and Payoo jointly hosted a ceremony in Hanoi to donate free cancer screenings for three common types of female cancers—breast, cervical, and ovarian—along with HPV testing for underprivileged women, as part of the social welfare program “Touch to Share, Give Hope.”

During the event, NAPAS, Mastercard, and Payoo donated 2,010 cancer screening and HPV testing packages—a modern screening method for early detection of cervical cancer risk. These 2,010 packages were allocated to the Vietnam Women’s Union (1,000 packages) and the Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority’s Youth Union (1,010 packages), to be distributed directly to underprivileged women working in industrial zones in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hung Yen, and Bac Ninh, as well as migrant workers in these areas.

Following the ceremony, 400 women will receive cancer screening services at Hanoi Medical University Hospital. The remaining beneficiaries will be screened from December 2025 to January 2026 at Thanh Nhan Hospital, the Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Clinic, and Gia Dinh People’s Hospital.

Over three months, the “Touch to Share, Give Hope 2025” program garnered strong community support through two key initiatives:

  • Tap-to-Pay Campaign: Each successful transaction contributed 2,010 VND to the cancer screening project. Over 2.2 million NAPAS and Mastercard tap-to-pay transactions were recorded at participating stores.
  • “Run for Health” Initiative: This campaign converted 2,010 VND per kilometer run online and 20,100 VND per kilometer at live events, engaging youth in charitable activities. Live running events attracted nearly 3,000 participants, completing nearly 12,000 kilometers. The online running event drew over 4,400 registrations, with more than 240,000 valid kilometers and over 32,000 runs logged in 30 days.
  • Alongside the donations, the program hosted an online seminar, “Early Cancer Screening: Proactive Health Journey,” featuring medical experts.
  • The “Touch to Share, Give Hope 2025” program successfully raised over 4 billion VND. These funds will provide 2,010 free cancer screenings and HPV tests. Additionally, the “Zero-Dong Stall” initiative continues at hospitals, offering essential items like rice, cooking oil, fish sauce, salt, shampoo, and body wash to alleviate financial burdens for beneficiaries.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Hung, Deputy CEO of NAPAS, shared insights on the program’s impact:
“Three years of collaboration with Payoo and Mastercard in the ‘Touch to Share, Give Hope’ program underscores NAPAS’s commitment to sustainable development and community contributions. Our partnership with the Vietnam Women’s Union for 2025–2030 reinforces our long-term CSR focus on women. We believe the program’s practical support will continue to create positive, lasting societal impact.”

Mr. Ngo Trung Linh, CEO of Payoo, highlighted the program’s scalability:
“The ‘Touch to Share, Give Hope 2025’ program is just the beginning. We aim to collaborate with like-minded organizations and businesses to establish annual social welfare initiatives, creating more opportunities for the underprivileged and contributing to Vietnam’s sustainable development.”
