Sacom Tuyen Lam announced that on May 26, 2023, the company submitted to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development the appraisal file on the results of the investigation of the forest area for a change in land use purposes. By June 21, the company was able to pass the request file for a change in land use purposes.
However, according to regulations, approval must be granted by the Provincial People’s Council. Currently, the company is still awaiting the approval results from the Provincial People’s Committee and the Provincial People’s Council to proceed with the project.

It is known that the two zones 7 and 8 are planned on a total area of over 194.9 hectares. Of which, zone 7 covers more than 59.3 hectares, located on the Tuyen Lam Lake peninsula, identified as a highlight of the national tourism area; and zone 8 is 135.6 hectares. According to the detailed planning, the project demonstrates respect for the natural landscape, minimizes environmental impact, with a construction density in zone 7 of 4.2% and zone 8 of 2.76%; the rest is reserved forests, green trees, gardens, and water surfaces.
The total investment capital of the project is 2,070 billion VND. The goal is to invest in building a high-end tourism, resort, and entertainment complex; contribute to protecting and enhancing the landscape of the Tuyen Lam Lake area, and create employment opportunities for local workers.
